2013 Bama Raw Puerh 拔瑪生普洱
2013 Bama Raw Puerh 拔瑪生普洱
Origin: Raw puerh tea from Bama Mountain, Nannuo, Yunnan, China.
Tasting Notes: Robust, candied fruit, lily
An intensely fruity puerh with a lasting finish that you can taste in the back of your mouth and throat long after your first taste. The sweetness lingers in the front with some sour and tanigness coating the sides of the tongue. This tea expands to fill your mouth and chest. An uplifting tea great to enjoy alongside the sunshine this season.
Bama is from a single mountain, Bama, in the Nannuo mountain range of Yunnan. At about 1600m elevation, teas from Bama mountain are difficult to pick and there are only limited productions of teas from this region. Mostly ancient arbor trees, the teas made tend to be the sweetest among the Nannuo teas.
